【摘要】:1Thispracticecoversproceduresforusinghermeti-cally-sealedpolymethylmethacrylate(PMMA)dosimetersformeasuringabsorbeddoseinmaterialsirradiatedbyphotonsorelectronsintermsofabsorbeddoseinwater.2Thispracticecoverssystemsthatpermitabsorbeddosemeasurementsunderthefollowingconditions:2.1Theabsorbeddoserangeis0.1to100kGy.2.2Theabsorbeddoserateis'1×10to1×10Gy·s.2.3Theradiationenergyrangeforphotonsis0.1to50MeV,andforelectrons3to50MeV.2.4Theirradiationtemperatureis-78to+50℃.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappro-priatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplica-bilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
