【摘要】:Thedissipationfactorofnaturalmuscovitemica,asdeterminedbythistestmethod,isofpracticalimportanceasameasureoftheelectricalenergylostasheatinthemicaservingasthedielectricsubstanceofcapacitors,orinotherapplicationsinwhichtheelectricfieldisappliedperpendiculartotheplaneofcleavage.Thedissipationfactorisparticularlyimportantinapplicationsusingmicaatradiofrequenciesandinsomelessextensiveaudiofrequencyapplications.Thistestmethodissuitableforspecificationacceptanceanddielectric-losscontroltests(SeetheSignificanceandUseofTestMethodsD150).RelativePermittivity(DielectricConstant)8212;Thepermittivityofnaturalmuscovitemicaisameasureofitsrelativeabilitytostoreelectrostaticenergy.Sincetherelativepermittivityperpendiculartothecleavageplaneisfairlyuniform,regardlessoforigin,itspracticalsignificanceismainlyforidentificationpurposes,specialuses,research,anddesign.Ifalossindexisdesired,thevalueofthepermittivitymustbeknown(seetheSignificanceandUseofTestMethodsD150).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedissipationfactorandtherelativepermittivityofnaturalblockmicahavingthicknessesbetween0.007and0.030in.(0.18and0.77mm)andmicafilmsorcapacitorsplitsbetween0.0008and0.004in.(0.02and0.10mm)inthickness.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationpurposesonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.AspecificwarningstatementisgiveninSectionand.Note1ProceduresforthemeasurementofdissipationfactorandpermittivityaregiveninIECPublication60371-2,butthedetailsoftheprocedurearesomewhatdifferentfromthosespecifiedinthistestmethod.
