【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedforuseincaseswhereanexperimentaldeterminationofheatofcombustionisnotavailableandcannotbemadeconveniently,andwhereanestimateisconsideredsatisfactory.Itisnotintendedasasubstituteforexperimentalmeasurementofheatofcombustion.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheestimationofthegrossandnetheatofcombustioninSIunits,megajoulesperkilogram,ofpetroleumfuelsfromthefueldensity,sulfur,water,andashcontent.Note18212;TheequationforestimationofnetandgrossheatofcombustionusedinthismethodwereoriginallypublishedbytheNISTPublicationNo.97.1.2Thistestmethodisespeciallyusefulforestimating,usingaminimumnumberoftests,theheatofcombustionofburneranddieselfuelsforwhichitisnotusuallycriticaltoobtainverypreciseheatdeterminations.Note2&38212;Moreaccurateestimationmethodsareavailableforaviationfuels(TestMethodsD1405andD3338,andD4529).However,thoseestimationmethodsrequireadditionalteststothoserequiredinthistestmethod.1.3Thistestmethodispurelyempirical(NOTE1).ItisapplicableonlytoliquidhydrocarbonfuelsderivedbynormalrefiningprocessesfromconventionalcrudeoilthatconformtotherequirementsofspecificationsforpetroleumfuelsasdescribedinNote3.Thistestmethodisvalidforthosefuelsinthedensityrangefrom750to1000kg/m3andthosethatdonotcontainanunusuallyhigharomaticcontent.Higharomaticcontentfuelswillnotnormallymeetfuelspecificationcriteria.Note38212;Theestimationoftheheatofcombustionofahydrocarbonfuelfromitsdensityandsulfur,water,andashcontentisjustifiableonlywhenthefuelbelongstowell-definedclassesforwhicharelationshipbetweenthesequantitieshavebeenderivedfromaccurateexperimentalmeasurementsonrepresentativesamplesoftheseclasses.Evenintheseclasses,thepossibilitythattheestimatemaybeinerrorbylargeamountsforindividualfuelsshouldberecognized.Thistestmethodhasbeentestedforalimitednumberoffuelsfromoilsandbitumenandshaleoiloriginandhasbeenfoundtobevalid.Theclassesoffuelsusedtoestablishthecorrelationpresentedinthistestmethodarerepresentedbythefollowingapplications:FuelSpecificationFuelOilsGrades1,2,4(light),4,5(light),5(heavy),and6D396DieselGrades1-D,2-D,and4-dD975AviationTurbineJetA,JetA-1,andJetBD1655GasTurbineGrades0-GT,1-GT,2-GT,3-GTand4-GTD2880KerosineGrades1-Kand2-KD3699
