【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthepreparationofallformsoftechnicalproductspecification.Therequirementscross-refersubstantiallytoInternationalandEuropeanStandardswhichhavebeenimplementedasBritishStandardseitherintheBSISO,BSEN,BSENISOseriesorasInternationalStandardsre-numberedasBritishStandards.TherequirementsaresupplementedbycommentaryandrecommendationsontechnicalmattersthatareconsideredtobeofassistancetousersofthisstandardintheUKandwhichdonotconflictwithpublishedInternationalStandardsinthisfield.AnnexAandAnnexBlistcross-referencedstandardsandotherdocuments,normativeandinformativerespectively,byprimaryreference.AnnexC(normative)setsoutrequirementsforenhanceddocumentsecurity.AnnexD(informative)identifiesthemaindifferencesinapproachbetweentheprovisionsofthisstandardandthoseoftheAmericanSocietyofMechanicalEngineers(ASME)Y14.5:1994.AnnexE(informative)providesabriefhistoryofthedevelopmentofBSISO1101.AnnexF(informative)providesasummaryreportontheconceptsthathaveunderwrittenthedevelopmentoftechnicalproductspecification(TPS)anditsprimaryconstituent,geometricalproductspecification(GPS),todateanddiscussessomeofthedriversforfuturechange.AnnexG(informative)givestherationalebehindthedevelopmentofBS8888.AnnexH(informative)givesalistofrecommendeddefaultchoicesinresponsetooptionsthatareavailableinthebodyofBS8888.
